Alex's first pinewood derby

The cub scouts invited all of the boys who were turning 8 this year to participate in the pinewood derby. Of course he wanted his to be some type of train so we did the best we could to make it like the bullet train. He worked really hard on it and painted it by himself. I think he did a great job!

                                                At the race. His car did better than we had hoped. He came in 2nd place for his age group and Jeff was so happy that it made it all of the way to the end of the track!
