It's a fracture

About a week and a half ago Alex fell and twisted his ankle. He didn't cry or anything so I didn't think it was that bad, but after a week of limping I took him to the Dr. Turns out he had a fracture.

So yeah I feel like a pretty lame mom. We were dragging this poor boy all over DC and Fredrick with a LOT of walking. He didn't even complain that much. He must just be tough.

So now he gets to wear this bad boy for for the next 3 weeks. It is really heavy and comes all the way up to his knee. No recess or PE at school. Plus it is like 90 degrees here. How are we going to survive??? I feel so bad for him! If you have any ideas of activities that he can do I would love to know!
