Alex had his 1st day of Kindergarten today! He was so excited. He loves school and has been waiting and waiting for it to start. I wanted to make it an extra special day for him. I made his favorite breakfast of cinnamon rolls, then had cookies and milk for his snack when he got home and had his favorite home made mac and cheese for dinner. And of course lots of hugs and kisses! We always do happy moments at dinner time and he had 6 today. Which is a record for him.

Waiting for the bus. They pick up all of the kindergarten kids right at their house. Which is very nice!

He can't wait!

I can't believe my baby is going to school!

Mason is going to miss him so much.

We are so glad that Jeff's schedule is flexible and he got to be there too!

Okay so please no comments asking if I am having twins. I know I am huge! And maybe now you know why Alex made the cow comment!

I am going to miss him soooo much. He is gone from 9am until 4pm. That is 7 hours a day! How will I survive??? I have really mixed feelings about him going. I am really excited for him I know he will THRIVE in school. But I am sad too. It is really hard to let go.

Finally the bus is coming! He didn't even want to give us a hug and didn't even wave goodbye! He just couldn't wait any longer. He was so excited to ride the bus. I wonder how long that will last. I kept my excitement for him until he got on the bus and then I cried like a baby! Mason was so cute and said mommy why are you sad. I told him I was really going to miss Alex and then he said I will help you feel better then brought books to read to me and then he sang to me. So CUTE. I am so thankful to still have him at home! He really did help me feel better!
Alex came home and said he had the greatest day at school. He couldn't wait to tell us all about it. I was so happy because when he went to preschool he wouldn't tell me anything about what he did. I had to DRAG details out of him. It was so great to have him recount his day. He even gave us his music class lesson. He likes being the teacher to mom and dad!
What a great boy we have! Hsppy 1st day of school!
That was one excited boy!!! It is such a bitter/sweet moment to send them to school huh? You'll get used to it though...and you'll be busy with a new baby soon as well. By the way I LOVE the pregnant picture!! So cute! You look like a normal pregnant mama...don't worry so much! I hope Mason survives his brother being gone. Josh is feeling so lost right now since both boys are gone and Scott started his job. He wanders around all morning. Poor kids!!
