Alex's baptism

On June 2, 2012 Alex was baptised !
                                                        Baptised by his dad.

Grandma and Grandpa Henry got to be there
Baby Charlotte made it just in time to come too.
One of our best friends from NY came all the way too.

Alex, his teacher Sister Benkert, and Amy wing his friend who was also baptised.

We are so proud of Alex and his decision to get baptised. He has such a strong testimony of the gospel even at the age of 8. He has such a great understanding of things that I didn't even understand until I was much older.
It was a stake baptism but the speakers happened to be from our ward. His Primary president Sister Cook  gave a great talk about the story of the three Bears. 1. Bear your testimony 2. Bear other peoples burdens. 3. Bear Christs name.
Sister Miller gave a talk about having Christ as your sure foundation. Helaman 5:12 was the scripture she shared (my favorite scripture) and then she gave each child a HUGE rock with that scripture written on it.  It is awesome!
Alex almost got to go under the water as any times as me but only made it to two instead. Because Alex is left handed some how Jeff got confused and raised his left had instead of the right and nobody realized it until after Alex went under the water. But the second time was perfect and he came out smiling and happy. There was a great spirit felt there. The confirmation and blessing was beautiful and Alex is so excited to have the Holy Ghost as his constant companion.
